Did you c ome here to make our lives miserable? Why do you sport a chevy product when this is a ford site? Do you have a mustang? Do you like chevy over ford? quote:
ORIGINAL: JD1969 Some of you guys act like the 05 Stang was the first retro car to come out. Don't forget the Beetle and the PT Cruiser (both of which sold very well) then there is/was the T-bird (over priced and under powered) the Prowler (WAY underpowered). Ford did a great thing with the 05 but I bet the retro trend either dies or becomes overly done by 2010. If the Challenger does make a come back, it will need to be a 350+hp 2 door rear drive coupe and convertible to be a real player, Diamler really messed up with Charger, they would have been better off just making up a new name, because the Mopar loyalists will not buy a 4 door Charger.

GTO isn't bad if they just called it a Manaro. It's a cool car for what it is but it doesn't have any real connection to the last GTO other than a badge. I can understand why many people like it. I'm actually looking forward to a new Camaro, Trans-am, Challenger, Cuda or a next model Charger/GTO that features a more sporty styling. I've got a small gripe even with the 05. Something about all these cars having this tall looking doors/side skirts doesn't fit. Wish they shortened the car a little more (floor to roof) with seats that sat at a similar height to the GT-40 to give it a longer look. It's nowhere near the box that is the Charger but it still doesn't have the sleekness on the sides of a 72 mach either. I'm trying to be more open minded just incase another company does have a car that I like more than the stang. I don't forsee it anytime soon but I'm not gonna close my eyes to the idea. For now, I like my "new-edge"
