mind you, this is only an artists rendering, but i thought that it was pretty interesting...as a fan of mopars, i think this would be pretty sweet to see hit production...

Nice looking car but I dont see the thought of even being built for another 5 years if even that. No real challange for the Mustang.

ORIGINAL: notstock02gt I thought the GTO was stupid when it first came out. Yeah it looks good but its nothing like the original GOAT. Its like some car from austraila or something that GM just bought. At least FORD comes up withtheir own stuff It doesn't look good! it looks like every other bland pontiac with the styling of a peice of plywood. I don't understand these car companies today look at how unaerodynamic that design is...even the 05 mustang is less aerodynamic than the s95

ORIGINAL: xRockThePonyx Seriously. It takes 5 years to make a car that can compete? Yeah, I'd say that's definitely a sign that the mustang is one hell of a car. I think a lot of companies probably feel the pressure of the popularity of the new stang though, you can't watch tv or flip through a magazine without seeing one in a contest or on a tv show. You know I was thinking the same thing, 'why the heck does it take so long to make a competitive car' to the Mustang - maybe you are right, ie - that we have one hell of a car?! I know I love mine and wouldnt change it for anything!

like i said though, people at a few forums who care about a challenger or camaro being made dont seem to realize that even this new mustang wasnt designed a few months prior to being released, and ford engineers had something to work with...the DCX engineers have to go from scratch, and i dont know what GM is going to do...i just cant see them letting the camaro name drift off into ambiguity...

I doubt it will look anything like that, I bet its going to look like a beefed up intrepid, just like every other dodge concept Ive seen in the past few years. Now if thay came out with the copperhead, than Id be impressed, that was a sweet looking car!

retro cars should all die. where's my goddamn flying saucer? GM? Ford? BMW? I'm buying the first flying car I see, and it better be before 2010. we're already in 2005, where the hell are the flying vehicles?
