ORIGINAL: ivanr77 I agree with you jinxed, i don't really like the "table top" look of your stang and many other ones. Although i personally dont want a hood scoop on my car, i think they look sweet. Anyone got a pic of a stang with a cowl induction hood? That is a gorgeous car right there, I'm a sucker for red and that hood is When it comes time for a new hood I may have to find one like that

An IMPORTANT part of the fine print quote:
All fiberglass requires prep to acheive that show-quality look and should be TEST FIT before any prep or painting!

Yeah.... it's hard to trust something when it basically says "This might not work, so don't paint it just yet" I wonder if it's just me, or if anyone else has problems with aftermarket stuff "made for classic mustangs" that doesnt fit. I bought a "backseat driver," which is basically a panel that houses subwoofers and an amp, built to fit behind the backseat of a 67. I had to chop about an inch off the top just to get it to fit. I'm still having trouble getting my new dash to fit. I got an ABS speaker panel to mount 6x9's on the package tray. It is made with risers b/c the holes in the metal arent big enough. However, I had to cut away at some metal to get the speakers to fit in there. Outside door handles are too small. And I never got those vent window handles to fit. Cant quite figure that one out.

Woah Dude, thats like Tri-tone! Schweet!! But seriously, there are some expensive pieces in there, like that Griffin Radiator. Looks like you've got nice project to work on. I look forward to seeing progress pictures as you work through it. Nualln: Yeah, I'm learning (like you) that you have to be real careful what you buy. I've also been reading threads where people buy stuff that doesn't fit right, so they off it on ebay! What's up with that!!!! I'm fortunate enough to have 3 Mustang parts places with in one hours drive. So If I'm not sure, I'll take a drive over and look closely. Pretty much from what I'm seeing it's the cheap crap coming from Asia that doesn't fit right. I have to be pretty desperate to buy anything (even Scott Drake products) if it doesn't come from the good ole U.S. of A. Oh yeah, Happy Independance day!

Sorry to revive this, but I don't think it should die, and I hate making new threads about this kind of stuff. Finally got pictures of the '66. I love the old school Cali License plate in the front too ;) These are pics outside with my friends new car, we're in a car club and he was taking pics. Thumbnail Image
