I have an odd question. Anyone removed the "GT" emblem from their fenders? I was thinking about this last night and wondering how hard this would be. Are these stuck on or are they bolted on?
If they were gone, could make for somewhat of a sleeper...

You can take it off by using 20lbs test fishing line. They are held in with push pins and glue so you will have to holes in the fender that you will have to fill. But it is not hard to do, I did both of mine in about 10 mins. Hope that helps. Also you need a drunk Nick Davis for comic value.

you could be real sneaky and put some 4.0 emblems there. when i was in college many 327 chevies had 283 emblems and dozens of 396 chevelles had 427s. i shake my head now at 4 cylinder cars with V6 emblems applied and a local Ford dealer is adding GT badges on sides and rear.
you can also replace the GT on the back with 6 cylinder like I did. (sneaky sneaky)
