Default Autometer Gauges in a 67 cluster

JME is selling an instrument cluster with autometer Gauges for about 900 bucks. While I would like to have more accurate gauges, I cant afford that by a long shot.

Has anyone put aftermarket gauges in their instrument cluster?

If so, how did you deal with the change in measurements. I find that the openings dont match up with aftermarket gauge sizes.

(small opening is 2 3/8", and the big opening is 4 1/4". Aftermarket gauges come in 3 3/8", 5", 2 1/16")

'05 NPD catalog page 11 uper right hand corner. They have a gauge support that allows you to install all your own gauges and use the stock bezel (standard or Pony). Really looks nice.

Man, this catalog is a wealth of information. I'm pretty sure you could build the whole darned car, brand new, from this catalog.
All you need is the money

I looked at the NPD catalog, and they only have 65-66 mounting clusters.

Any other options?

Big bold letters say '67... DOH!!!!!!
Sorry about that.

Somewhere I did see a thread that talked about this. Might have been on Stang.net. The guy wanted a tach instead of a clock.
Try a search for '67 Mustang Tachometer. Could of sworn I saw a picture posted of a custom dash a guy did. Looked pretty nice.

Good luck,

Send the boy to school, buy him books, and he still can't read. JME makes the best as far as I know, and yeah, they are expensive. Ask Dodgestang.
