Default 4spd install special cases

obviously its not hard to install a 4spd in a 67 stang, but my friend is thinking about getting a 4spd set-up for his, one problem he has thought of is that he has that heidts suspension setup and it raised his engine position about 3-4 inches, would this pose a problem with the 4spd z-bar mounting post? if anyone has done this, is there ne thign special that we could come into while installing this with that suspension setup on there? please dont give me a step by step on how to intall a trans and cluth we know that already (im only saying that cause i have posted a qeustion like this and a got a step by step of what i already knew and nothing that helped me.)

I'm sorry that nobody has answered your post with any definitive answer. I am not familiar with the Heidts suspension upgrade, but if it truly lifts the engine 3-4 inches, then my suspicion would be that you will have clearance problems. Obviously, that is a guess. Maybe you should contact the Heidts suspension folks to ask that technical question.
