That's exactly why they said that they were HIDING lol therefore you can not see them, if you were there and had as powerful of a scope as they had on that .50 cal you could probably see some towel head hiding in the bushes or behind a rock. BTW I want more video of those idiots getting blown up.

Ummm pretty much shows your ignorance. Yes Canada was there but not to fight. And if you paid attention in school, or even if the school got you to learn more then just your country, you would know that Canada is a peace keeping country. Although yes I do agree that it sux. Canada has the best ( go there and do your missions and if you die, tough luck type of situations where the soldiers are trained to deal with and also like he said, the snipers.

First off Big Bertha... Lets get something straight!! I am no longer in school " i went over to iraq once and i dont need some panzy canadian trying to lecture me about school. First off Cananda did cry about the war and still is, People like you are ones that make North America suck!!! Pull your head out of your Pumpis ARSE. We protect your sorry butts and keep you safe at night. And do you know why we keep you canadians safe its cause most of you are Panzy crying people. Now as for you if you wanna go to Iraq sign up to our Army get your training so you can deal with your tough luck situation. See right now we are helping people in Iraq more then i can say about you. So if you havent served any combat time then you need to sit back and shut the hell up. Be sure you know what you are talking about. And canada WAS NOT THERE so get your facts correct, so stop watching TV . So if you are lucky maybe you can be one of those brave men or women making a real differnce in the world.

that is not a 50 cal

a 50 BMG does not have the energy or velocity at that range to cause such a dramatic explosion of flesh especially with a non expanding bullet even if it is a tumbler. it also would not lift a 150lb body off the ground like that

a 1100yds a 650gr 50BMG would only have 4000-4100 ftlbs energy left and be traveling at a slow poke pace of 1600-1700 ft/sec

not enough velocity to do that kind of destruction. it would just poke straight through a human body. it would still be an instantaneous kill but not that dramatic.

you would need either something in the 20mm class at that range or a hyper velocity 50cal with at least 2500ft/sec remaining at that range with about a 4200ft/sec at the muzzle.

it could be done with a 50bmg if a lighweight alloy bullet was used say around 470gr instead of the standard 650grain slug but still IMHO it was a larger caliber rifle than the 50.

i've been around 50's and numerous other calibers too long to believe that was a 50BMG. it just doesn't have the gas to do that at that range.

shoot a marmot or ground hog with a 7.62X51 (.308WIN) with ordanance ammo at 100 yds and see if it does that. it wont. but it would be a similar example of what a 50 will do at 1000

Why ya'll dogging on Canada so much? You could dog us just the same; I mean, after all, we killed 20 Canadian troops. It was an accident, but still, we dropped a bomb on them. I don't recall Canada dropping a bomb or killing any of our troops. Maybe they did, but I have not heard anything about it. Do they have some of the "best snipers in the world"? I dunno. But ole boy is right, Canda is not a country with enough resources or a big enough army to make a tremendous contribution to the war over here. Could they contribute a bit more than they are at the moment? Absolutely, but maybe they are afraid we'll bomb them again; I kinda (just a little) don't blame them. But heck, Canada is not the only country that could do better in the contribution department. At least they gave it a shot, sent troops and support. And I hate to burst your bubble, but there ARE Canadians over here. I'm sitting in the Baghdad International Zone as I write this, and I can tell you without doubt that they are here because I have seen and talked to them. As far as I know they are not participating in combat operations, nor is there a sizeable number, but they do have representation here.

JDaniel, where were you in Iraq? This is tour number 2 for me. My first tour was Kirkuk; I had a blast, man. I was expecting more hostilities in Baghdad, but the Army has this place locked down tight. Unfortunately most of the casualties are Iraqi civilians around here.

Wow, I just registered for this site just to set the record straight. The places the internet will take you...

First off, some of you are completely ignorant.

Canada was in Afghanistan since early 2002 and are still there now. Operation Anaconda was supported by Canadian snipers who
recorded the first and third longest confirmed kills in combat history. 2430 metres. Thats almost the length of 27 Football fields for the challenged Americans here. Five of our snipers were awarded the Bronze star and were credited with about 30 kills and for saving the lives of many Americans.

http://www.snipercountry.com/Articles/KillingShot_2430Metres.asp

Canada right now is moving 1000 troops who have been keeping your puppet Karzai alive in Kabul for the last three years. They
are moving into Kandahar and things will get ugly there. We have lost 7 men there, 4 due to one of your idiot Cowboy pilots.

Next, that video is shot somewhere in Hillbillyville USA. It is video of rodents and sheep being 'sniped'. This is well and widely known.

Good god, I want the last 15 minutes of my life back, idiots.

Stinger, normally I would just laugh at this kind of inbred, redneck, trailer park, sister luvin, backwoods, dipshit ignorance and ignore you. HOWEVER, in this case, I thought it was appropriate that you be pointed at and ridiculed in public.

I only wish I had seen this earlier.

You didn't even read my quote correctly before you went on a psychotic rant. If you had you would have seen that I said AFGHANISTAN.......NOT IRAQ!
Yet you felt it necessary to say that we should "check our facts".....that we are "pansy Canadians", among other extremely rude insults.

You, sir are a tool.

When I was in Afghanistan back in 2002, we converted the USS Kitty Hawk into a Special ops Carrier and we had a lot of nations in there.....including ......Canooks special ops guys and some spooks (intel guys) onboard.
Canada is not my favorite country but they are there helping.
