Okay my best friend knows someone with a 04 scaglietti and hes bringing it down this saturday and at a party last night this guy was talking sh!t with a r6..saying he beat an r1 and that he could take this ferarri on the highway..and hes willing to put up a grand..now heres the specs on the ferrari Type: V12

I just want to see what you guys think, I think the ferrari will kill it, they didn't set up a distance..but its gonna be from a roll on a long straight highway anyways heres a pic of the ferrari

If he is stock he will get beat by the ferrari. But if he claims to have beaten an r1 he has to be heavily modded or lying i would bet on lying. My guess is if the ferrari owner says lets go he will not show.

i think this one is going to be all rider.
If he's a cocky SOB (and if he SAID he beat an R1 then he is) then he'll probably lose.

The Scag pulls 1/4mi at about 12.5 and the r6 (spec w/ a 98lb japanese test pilot :-)) can pull 10.7.
So you figure a moderately crappy, cocky as rider should be able to keep it under 12 seconds. Bike wins.

but if they start at a roll on above like 100mph, then it all depends on how far they want to go. top end scag wins...they need to start from a stop and race say a 1/2 mile...i think bike will win (as long as the rider isn't a complete SQUID)

Who cares. I never even see Ferrari's on the road around here. I think cars should race cars and bikes should race bikes. Thats how its done at the strip.

A moderatly good rider will only a get a r6 in the mid 12 range unless he can come out of the whole on a wheely. if he can't and he bogs out of the hole the ferrari has him.
