i am still having vibration problems at higher speeds i got a new driveline, tires balance and alignment.  the guys said at the tire shop i had some flat spots on my front tire and says that could be causing the problem.  any help would be great

  I also have the same problem in my 68 , but a allignment fixed it.

Could possibly be the u-joints on the driveshaft, wheel alignment,wheel balance,driveshaft balance(my best guess) or bad wheel bearings. If you had the alignment done, I would do some of the other things.

Flat spots can be felt at low speeds almost better than high speeds.  If it is only at high speeds there could only be a ballance problem, bearings, or bushings.  When you get to the alignment shop the tech should tell you if anything is loose, because you can't do a good alignment with bad bearings or bushings.  Good Luck.
