Has anyone installed the JBA exhaust and just cut the bumper to fit? If so did you have to do any cutting on the existing slot for it to fit or does the exhaust fit ok on the right and just requires a matching slot cut on the left? I'm planning on ordering the JBA exhaust soon but don't want the extra expense of a GT valence. Also, how long does it take to get the JBA's once an order is placed, this will determine where I have them shipped since I'm going home to visit my family next weekend for a couple of weeks.
My JBA duals are scheduled to be delivered Saturday (June 18th). If you don't want a GT bumber, you'll definetly have to cut the rear valance. That's what I'll be doing once the exhaust is here.
From JBA's site: BA Dual Exit Exhaust p/n 50-2630 - Note: This kit designed to fit with a GT bumper or a V6 bumper trimmed for tip clearance.
Before I ordered, I called JBA directly. They have 'em in stock, on the shelves, waiting to be shipped. They also advised not buying directly from them... you can get better deals elsewhere.
I ordered them from Don at http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/ when they were being shipped from JBA to there, so my order was delayed a bit. I placed my order late in the evening on June 8th. They arrived at v6mustangstuff on June 13th and shipped out the next morning. Don is great to work with.
