Default First run at the track for the Cobra...

Well ladies and gentlemen...

I dont have all the slips but I do have the best run, so here it is. Please remember that this is on street tires and im not going into full throttle till I hit third or I get bad wheel hop and spin very easily.

Reaction... .1463

60 ft... 2.0633

330ft... 5.4850

1/8 ET... 8.3000

1/8 mph... 90.84

1/4 ET... 12.5437

1/4 mph... 117.25

The funniest part of the night was there was an auto C5 Vette with heads, cam, and he said an X pipe (I didnt know you could get an X for the Vette). He was running 12.0's with BFG drags. Anyhoo... he called me out and at the time I was taking my front headlight out for more air. I didnt show and he ran some truck. Well I went to the tower and talked to the announcer and he called the Vette out for me. I told him that I would race under one condition and that was if he went back to street tires because that all I had. He said he would but he ran a few more times and dipped out on us. LOL What a punk, huh?

HE GOT SKEERD!!!

Yeah... I was scared. I only wanted it to be fair. I cant get traction in first, second, and sometimes third... how am I gonna hang with something on drags? Besides, I was running 12.5's on street tires and he was running 12.0-12.3's all night on BFGs. LOL. Give me a pair of drag radials or slicks and I would annhiliate him. But then again... it wouldnt be fair because of my blower, now would it? [&:]

damn jdan.....you really NEED some dr's for that thing !! the 'Vette was skurd cuz he knew youd walk him if he was on street tires, or you on dr's. not bad though for being first time. have you gotten completely used to driving it yet ? compared to your other 'Stang ?? but, i agree, get some dr's and show us what that beast will really do !!!!!

make sure you get a drive shaft loop along with that if you don't have it yet. Nice times considering the tracktion.

Doooood, If you think an IRS brace is going to hold that thing together with 600 hp and slicks....

Well, just bring a broom and dust pan.
