ok i own an 86 gt and currently i have to get new o2 sensor and dont have any hooked up right now.... My car runs fine still and the only thing ive noticed is its runnina lil rich. So will this hurt my car if i drive w/o o2 sensors for about a week???

O2 sensors measure how much oxgen is burned during combustion. Basically if the engine is running to rich or too lean.it will sendthat information back to the computer, so it can adjust appropriatly. Im pretty sure stock they do not measure A/F ratio (at least not in a SHO).For that you would need a wideband o2 and those costquite a bit. you can run without an o2 sensor. The computer (eec-iv)will revert back to a static operation. You will loose performance but i dont think it its terribly wrong to do for a week or so. </P>
