Anyone used Total control products coilover kit? Has anyone installed an IRS on an old mustang 1964-70? How do the old ones drive? I want to make a track car...getting tired of bmws.

Check out http://www.dvsrestorations.com/ They have bolt in kits to install a late model Cobra IRS unit into an early chassis.

I''ve seen the Cobra IRS put into the 67-70 cars but apparently there''s not enough room in the 65-66''s.  Heidt''s makes one and so does and engineering company (which I can''t remember the name of right now) but both are $$$$$$$$$.  The RRS rear three link that I''m guessing Tony was suggesting (as I believe it''s his company) is not an IRS, it''s pretty expensive for a torque arm setup and my biggest beef is they use proprietary brake rotors (at least on the front strut setup (which is also quite expensive).  I bought their power rack and pinion and have had several problems with it.

I remembered what it was.  It''s a company called CTS Engineering.  They have reproduced the original IRS design.  Looks really nice, but $$$$$$$$$$$
