He warned her several times, if she cooperated then things would have went smoothly for both of them. She gave him no other choice. Like Mike said, I would have been tempted to taze her ass again for whining like that. The cop was totaly correct, and she obviously has a severe attitude problem. Her license was suspended for a reason, he probably saved someones life by taking her ass off the road.

I like how you edited his post, but didn't bother to edit it when you quoted him. lol

I only seen one racist comment, in which the good moderator banned him. Other than that, it's people commenting on her use of the race card in which case most certainly did NOT apply. Some simply laughed at the video.( I'm guilty ) In which case I'm sure we who laughed would laugh at anyone of any color or gender in the same case scenario.
Be very selective when using or playing the race card. Outside of the one guy making his rude comments, it simply dosent apply here. The quicker one uses the race card, the more they have to hide & more likely they can't even properly define racism.
That video, a simple case of " crying wolf " concerning racism.
Larry Elder, a black TV talk show host asked a bunch of police officers once: "When pulling over a black person, how often do they bring up race as the reason for being pulled over.
When it was a white officer he said about 70-80% of black motorists will say to the white officer, "you only pulled me over because I'm black" regardless if every single time the police officer had a legitamate reason to pull the person over.
And when it's a black officer pulling over a black person they said about 25-30% of the time, they STILL play the race card as an excuse for it.
Later he mentioned that the VAST majority of the time an officer doesn't even know the race of the person he's pulling over until he approaches the car. Which is probably true. How easily can you see what race someone is when they go speeding by you, or make an illegal move at night, etc etc.
It's actually quite pathetic and sad that blacks pull the race card so often. It's really racism on their part when they do that. And they are certainly NOT helping their cause by doing so when a vast majority of the time those claims are false.
In regards to the video: I don't think a Tazing was necessary in that situation however. He asked her politely to step out of the car...she refused. I couldn't see her take a swing at him, but my guess is, the officer attempted to grab her and pull her out and she swung her arm at him. He was a big boy, all he needed to do was grab her..yank her arse out of the car and let her taste pavement while he cuffed her. Tazing was the easy way, and he had every legal reason to use it, but in that case it wasn't necessary.

you're not a cop, you weren't there. police officers know when and when not to use it. she wasn't cooperating at all, being a smartass, she could have had a gun or something. she got physical after she was told to get out.
oh, and the cop being in a cobra gave him more reason to taze her. if i got pulled over by an unmarked cobra cop car, i'd beg the man to taze me!
IMO, She was going for the $$$. Just had to scream a lot to attract witnesses and "prove" excessive mental anguish, then find a Johnny Cohran type lawyer to file and the state/municipal guys will often write a check just to minimize their cost and trouble. And the poor cops look like Nazis.

hahahahahaha! no shat! the police officer even knew what she was doing. that's why he was like "calm down, it isn't that bad, i've had it done to me." ya know what? i betcha she got off on all charges and sued the police department and won.
Driver72, who the hell are you to say that the tazer "wasnt necessary"? Im going to school to be a police officer and he did the right thing. I dont even feel like explaining why he wasnt supposed to "just reach in a grab her". The website that Nanaki linked also had commentary options to the left side of the screen by a Captian of the police department. He specifically explains why he didnt grab her, and goes on to give a creditable and totaly reasonable explaination of how he cop did exactly what he was trained to do.
The tazer looks very painful and deadly but reguardless of what that lady was screaming, after the tazer shuts off your fine. The tazer allowed both the officer and the woman to escape without injury. If the police officer grabbed her, they could have both been hurt. He would have had to reach into the vehicle (leaving him vulnerable) and, If she was that uncooperative, for all the officer knows she could have grabbed his gun, grabbed a knife from from a concealed location, etc.
The people that hate the police are the first people to go crying to them when somthing happens. I know there are bad apples in every bunch but, reguardless of what most think, police are human as well. They are doing a job to feed their families and at the end of the day their childern would like to see them come home. I feel sorry for all of you who hate police, it really bothers me, I'm sure it was your fault why you have a bad taste for them...

yep. cops are human too. cooperate with them and they'll cooperate with you. if they're still being a d!ck, just show up in court. usually the cop won't show up and your shat will just get thrown out anyway. he shouldn't have even had to think about grabbing that tazer. that lady was wench thinking she could get off with the race card and just socialize on the phone like a smartass.
Driver72, who the hell are you to say that the tazer "wasnt necessary"? Im going to school to be a police officer and he did the right thing.
A former Deputy Sheriff. From what I could see, he could of pulled her out without the tazer. I was an officer well before Tazer's were used. I could of (and always did) easily manage to get her (or other uncooperative people) out of the car without a Tazer, and so could that/those officers.
If that officer needed a Tazer to get out a solo unarmed female, what's he going to do to get a 6 foot 6 inch 250 pound man out of the car....shoot him in the knee?
If you TRULY are going to the academy and think he needed a Tazer to get her out of the car....I pity the city/county you'll be working for. What are you going to do, mace a 70 year old combatant woman too?
And what gave you the SLIGHTEST clue I hate police officers? Have 2 in the family as well. From your aggressive and defensive ways and responses, as well as quick jump to conclusion theories...you won't make a very good officer.
I also didn't listen to what the Captain had to say. But of course he'll "cover his officers". The question one needs to ask is, "what would those officers of done had they NOT been carrying a Tazer gun?" They would of done what veteran and other officers have done for DECADES...pulled her out of the car with their hands!
Don't get me wrong...Tazers are a good thing...but they aren't justified in use for what could EASILY of been dealt with without the Tazer. I could think of DOZENS of uses and situations for the Tazer gun. And unarmed solo female being a BIT combative isn't one of them.
