I may have a toploader 4 speed for sale from my 1965 Mustang Coupe.  I'm trying to find a 5 speed to bolt up to my 1971 302 , but being a new Mustang enthisiast, I don't know if a 5 speed from a newer model 5.0 will fit.  I posted this question, But I haven't received any replies yet.  Are you knowledgeable about this?

Richard

4sale, good luck finding a 4 speed. They are out there, but cost some bucks for a good one. If you have a 289, the 5 speed conversion can be done easily with the correct parts(linkage, bellhousing, clutch pedal,cables,etc...)

First Mustang, you will also need the correct parts for the conversion, but it can be done.
