Default new to site

hi, i'm new to this site and i'm here because i love the new mustang. I'm only 15 now but i'm going to get a 2007 V6 Mustang conv. But i have a question for everyone that owns a V6 2005 Mustang conv., how much are you guys paying for your insurance for a month or 6 month's pay? Just wondering.

It's very easy to figure out what your premiums will be. Call up your insurance company, tell them you're thinking of purchasing a certain vehicle and ask for a quote.

Mine is around 450 for 6 months, but we have our home and auto policies tied together and I'm a LOT older than you I've heard stories of anywhere from 2000 to 6000/yr. for teenagers with clean records even on the V6. It greatly depends on where you live, whether you have your own policy or if you're a rider on your parents policy, how long you've been driving and what your record looks like. By then you should be able to get a good deal on a used '05, the insurance would be cheaper on a used one. You might consider going that route.

Hi - yeah, insurance is so totally dependant on age, location, vehicle use, and a number of factors any information you get will not be conclusive. For instance, I pay $372.00 for a 6 month policy with full coverage from Progressive. They quote 1318.50 for 6 months of minimum coverage (including comp/coll) for a 16yo driver in my area... that is paid in full - if you pay it monthly it'll probably be more like 1400 or 1500. Go to www.progressive.com and get a quote for yourself and I bet it will be a different figure. Hope this helps....

thanks everyone for your reply. I did check with E Insurance and for 6 months it came up to about $2200.00. And that is for a brand new 2005 V6 Mustang Conv. is that good or bad? thanks again
