BOSS Engine?? - 6/5/2005 9:24:08 PM    Zeaus   Posts: 4 Joined: 1/30/2005 Status: offline I have a guy selling an engine that he says is a Boss motor. The numbers he gave me were C8ZE9425A. I can only veify that this is a 1968 , mustang engine from the cleveland plant. I can find no verification on any Boss motors in 1968. Can anyone help me verify these numbers. Looks like maybe there was an early atttempt at producing a "BOSS" type 302 in 68. But it only had two bolt mains versus the four bolt in 69. Maybe this is what the guy has. He is claiming 11-1 compression and 290 HP.
