I see someone is going to get their AARP card before me.............

I started getting that dreaded mail from AARP about the membership and benefits a couple of years ago.....The rear seat of my Stang is just perfect for the walker...LMAO

Wow. The 2005 group is a lot older than the normal mustang group. Thanks to Retro styling maybe????

I definitely think so... that is what attracted me to it. I loved the late 69-70 stangs, and this is the first Mustang in 35 years that really, really appealed to me. I absolutely had to have one... no matter what.

'Nuther old fart here. I'm 55 and it's my first Mustang. I'll never forget many years ago [ sing....Memories,..Memories!..], I had a chance to get my buddies '66 Shelby GT350H for cheap. Remember, the H model stood for Hertz. As in the rent-a-car folks. Only a relatively few were made, but they posed an interesting problem for Hertz. The thing was, a lot of folks tended to rent them on a Sunday and take 'em right to the drags! If you hear the term "Rent a Racer", thats where it came from. As for my buddie's '66, it was black, [fair paint] on a straight, rust free body, and had a nice black interior with auto, as I think all Hertzes were. It had ratty Crager SS mags with decent tires. Once I replaced the timing chain and sprockets, it ran great. I remember the aluminum 9 quart oil pan, and the quick shifting C-4. Sigh,...coulda had it for a lousy $1500 'cause he couldnt make the payments! But way back then, neither could I! These new ones just dont shift as Fun as the old cars, and the mundane looking shifter and knob were no where near as neat to look at and use as the old Hurst Competition Plus. Anyway, at my age I love all the power feces on the new car. The old one all but had zip for options.

I'll be 54 next month. The kids are grown and gone, so it's time for the old guy to have some fun with the daily driver. Although, I have owned a Truimph TR-6 for over 30 years, it's just a weekend toy. The Performance White GT is just a blast to drive, and the clutch is so much easier on the old knees than the one in the Triumph.

I am 44.
This is my 5th Mustang, and my favorite of all.
My husband bought it for me for Christmas this past year.
Merry Christmas to me...lol

I was just curious what age groups are buying the newest generation Mustang. If you own (or have on order) a 2005 (or a 2006) Mustang, what age group do you belong to?

For what it's worth... I'm 46.

53 and growing younger every day!!!!!!!

Dave

Nice burnout (by the way).....

Uhhh, that depends on how long you claim to have been married... I hope it's not 10 years.
