Big 5-0 this April. This is my second Mustang. My dad brought my first in '73...1969 Mach 1 with the 428 but an automatic...very nice. But guess what, I think my '06 5 banger beats that car. I was HIGH then, and I'm HIGH now.
just turned 18. Had gotten a 2000 Mustang last year, and as a present for my 18th, got a new Mustang from my parents. Keeping the 2000 Mustang cause I love it (still needs some problems fixed before it's back to 100%). Only kid at school with a new Mustang. Got accepted to Ohio State, graduating in 5 months, just turned 18, and got a new Mustang... enjoying every minute of it. Sorry if I seem like I'm boasting, but to wake up and see a '06 Stang in the driveway was sweet.
Great question for a survey. I spoke with Justin Burcham of JPC Racing last week regards mods to my 06 GT. During the conversation, we spoke of the same issue and both observe alot of folks my age (36) going for the 05/06 to include several observed with baby/kids seats in the back. The night I took my six year old for a ride, he remarked about the lack of leg room to which I replied "It's not about you, son. It's about daddy!" Also, he is seeing a number of customers (like myself) with 5 speed automatic as it is often a compromise with the spouse as a condition of purchase. I miss the 5 speed in my 90 GT but the Tremec 3650 shifts nicely.
31 here.........my 05 GT is my second mustang (still have my 98 V6 for a work car). As far as I've seen I'm the youngest new GT driver in my area........and the only one I've heard of about to mod the hell out of it
I'm 37 and own and have owned a lot of cars and my new mustang happens to be one of my favorites. It's cetainly not the most expensive, limited, or unique - but none-the-less it gets the majority of my attention.

I'm 38 and my Sonic Blue baby wishes she had Chevykiller's mods!!!
I am 41 and have the money now to buy what I would have had if..... I was 21 in 1967 or had the money in 1986 to buy the 1967 Mustang that I wanted to buy from a family member for 13K. Well now I have the money at 41 and have a 2006 GT Redfire Clearcoat. I am having stripes and Side decals of GT300 installed this week. I also have purchased Chrome Mahdi Ceasar 19 inch wheels.
I plan on driving only during the summer and will put between 5k-7k per year max on the car.
This will go to a grandson down the road I am sure of it.

Love the car....

Nate, would any of your children be interested in adopting me? I'm 39, but I'd be very nice to my new Pop Pop!
I'm 18 and a soon-to-be owner... (I can't wait!!). Currently attending U of Nebraska and should not be awaiting delivery day... But i guess a summer working a feed lot and a loan from the bank will all be worth-while huh? Besides, coming from a farming family, the motto has always been "you can always borrow more money"
