My 2003 gt has windnoise that sounds like it is coming from pass rear window. I have taken it to the dealer three times and they can't seem to fix it. The last time I was advised that it is a "design flaw" that can't be repaired. They said that is wasn't windnoise but turbulance outside of the car. Has anyone else experienced this and if so can it be repaired?

My friend bought a '03 GT 3 and a half months ago (already has 11k miles on it....) and he had same prob but just thought it was the convert top. His dad insisted it wasn't and had it taken in to a friend's body shop. The guy for some reason had a spare door for the '03 and put it on and said that fixed it, so he had it painted and installed new door. No idea what was actually causing the noise specifically, but it's gone now. Good luck with yours.

I myself have a 2003 GT and I dont really notice a wind noise from the door, but the noise from the antenna is nasty. Id like to get rid of it and put a small non-riceburner antenna somewhere else, but that probably wont happen...

I worked in a ford dealership for years but now I'm in the Amry. When i worked for ford alot of people would come in with wind noise. The way i would check it is by useing 2 inch tape and i would tape up the edges of the door or anyother place I thought it was coming from. If it went away I just adjusted the the panle or whatever it was. If it didnt go away it was somthing on the out side of the car like the mirror or scoops.
