So I just picked up my brand new V6 Mustang Saturday, black w/ red leather interior. Now I want to know what you all think about what stuff to do first. I'm thinking either Steeda intake or MMR intake w/ high flow tube, plus a Magnaflow dual cat-back, and the SCT tuning. What do you think? which intake? I've heard the MMR causes the check engine light to go off due to the Mass Air Flow Sensor replacement, anyone comment on that? And what about replacing or cutting the rear bumper to put in the dual cat-back exhaust? Any comments, input, experience or advice would be great, thanks!

There are alot of topics on here about the complications with the v6 as far as duals go, I have the mmr intake and had the engine light go on for about 3 mintes before it went off and never came back on. And unless you want to void your warrenty really quick don't reflash the computer just yet, its the first thing ford techs are trained to look at and will red flag them. If I were you i'd get the intake w/tube, order the muffler hangers from your dealership(you'll need them to hand duals), and get the magnaflow dual exhaust and see how it feels after that.

I have the MMR set up and had the dealer install true duals. They did a great job cutting the bumper with a Drimel and unless you lay on the ground you cannot tell it is not a factory job. No problem with the check engine light for me at all. Good luck and enjoy your new Mustang.

I was considering ordering a new rear bumper cover to go along with the duals I am wanting to get. So you think I could cut the existing one and get by? I have done mechanic work for years so I probably do the cutting.
