Finally after 2 months of working on it got all the parts together and ran true dual exhaust with the Gt mufflers. Sounds great and a noticable increase in performance with new intake and headers.

Very nice...so your V6 has a room of it's own? And some windows to boot!

How did you have the bumper cut to match the other factory cut?

Nice!

I'm really starting to like the look of the V6's with cutouts for the dual exhaust... in my opinion, it makes for a cleaner rear end than the GT. I thought I'd never cut my bumper, but I'm really considering it more and more.

I got the cut to match by measuring the other side with the other muffler off, then marking it off with a sharpie with little dots, then I made a rough cut giving myself alot of bumper to work with and sanded it down from their to make sure it turned out the way I wanted it. It really wasnt too hard at all.

I will as soon as I can, Right now I have a MMR high flow intake and I had the exhaust system taken out and I ran true duals str8 back from the cats so it will sound a bit different. I'll post a clip soon as I figure out how.

that looks so nice, that is what i want to do, i just can't decide if i want true duals, if i want to y them out the back or if i want to do something crazy like side exhaust, but then i would have a hole in the bumper....decisions, decisions....

That looks very cool - nice job. What did you do for pipes, procedure-wise? Did you have a shop bend them and you put them in or did you use the GT pipes? I have some GT mufflers on the way and I assumed that I would go to a muffler shop at least for the driver's side, but if there's a way to do it myself, I'm all over that.

I had them cut out the whole system and run 2, 2 and 1/2 inch pipes pretty much strait back from the cats and bend them over the rear axle. It only cost about 340 for all the work and it opened my engine up alot, feels like I added at least 7 rwhp.

Excellent - thanks for the info. Can't wait to feel the effects on mine, too...

great job, mine that was done yesterday looks exactly the same. i like the blackout between the taillights. i have a silver vert with Red leather and am considering using red instead of black. i removed the black side stripes first day.
