Yep thats an older timing cover. You dont need studs for that block off plate just regular bolts will work that plate can be bought at any speed shop and the bolts will come with it.The plate is about ten bucks

Nope, my local speed shop isn't open on the weekdays.
They have their own car they race.
So, I'm stuck with Auto Zone and the like.
Waiting to see if Casper had ordered one as well.
So I'm sorta screwed until Monday.

Hehe what?
It's Brand New.
There is no cleaning to do

Oh and bobby, those covers are just some generic chrome valve covers.

And yes I said chrome, they were 40 bux and I didn't feel like paying more than double that.

Ah, you'll have to excuse him. He's young still (not even old enough to drink yet ), so even he doesn't know what he's saying half the time...

J/K OB. Got that motor in the car yet? Remember, take your time...

If you can't locate the block off plate, try Johnson's Performance in Concord. 225-5787

Stock motor mounts, stock a-arms, and bushings. lol. I have a set of control arm bushings from Steeda i got for free if he wants them.... but everything is all back together. lol.
