Jugador, have you ever noticed that we get a lot of TROLLS come around and eventually they take into consideration what was said and back off?

I think Chowder just did this...You proved my point Chowder, apparantly your friend from the WRX forum doesn't know anything about the IRS & Modular motors.

Another point for you Chowder, Trucks LAST LONGER than CARS by ANY manufacturer who builds both! Trucks are built differently, they are built for heavy loads, towing, rough terrain ETC. They are FAR LESS complicated machines than your average car.

If you really cared about automobiles lasting, you would be driving a diesel right now. You were just looking to prove some point without any hard data and valid points. I'm done with this thread.

Ford sells more Pickup's and Taurus's than all of Subaru combined. Yeah they must be junk.

We own trolls thats why.  with enough persistence and intelligence from us they just give up.  im juggling 3 threads here and still keeping up with every comment.

and the truck thing is right...my brother's 93 F-150 has been going strong for 275 thousand miles and my mom's suburban of the same year for 255k miles

Alright, my turn to chime in. I have said it before, I own both a '02 WRX and an '02 GT. I love my stang, wouldn't trade it for anything except a Cobra. But I have to tell you guys, you are wrong about the Subarus. This car is absolutely phenomenal. Yeah, you get some powertrain loss with an AWD car but the car is still damn quick. Don't believe me? Then drive one for yourself, don't just listen to others. My Subaru stock will outhandle anything Steeda puts out anyday, that is a fact. Straighline performace definitely goes to the stang which is why I love mine so much but on a twisting road, that WRX is more fun to drive.

The new STi does carry the capability to shift the drivetrain distribution to complete RWD also (uh-oh) read the article.

Hey Jug, I am from Texas and let me tell you, out in the Hill Country, that little Subaru is a sh**load of fun to drive.

Subarus are most well known for their durability over any other car. Granted, the new generation performance lines are still generating data but they have owned the WRC races for years. If that's not an endurance test, I don't know what is. The boxer engine was first designed in Germany during WWII and was the first engine put in VW Beetles, I think it has a pretty reliable history. It's also the same design as whats in the Porsche Boxster.

perhaps I just don't feel like arguing my point anymore because I know you can't convince die hard fans. A troll, whatever, just wanting opinions. I wish I owned a diesel, I love diesels. I wish they still made the diesel ranger, or some form of light diesel truck. And stop saying I'm dissing all fords damnit cause I think its pretty clear that I'm not

Thank you jesus for Gdear...like you I own a ford and subaru wrx. What you just stated was exactly what I was going for. You just have a much much higher status here than I chowder3137963.0487615741

Yes, reports say they DO break down more. Everyone has their problems, thats Fords. But they still make the most bitch ass trucks that are the closest thing to an army issue Hummer I think. They made diesel rangers back in the 80s, they were much much more common in Europe, as diesel is the main fuel there (it should be here too) If ya still don't believe me check out this link   Diesel Ranger
