not everyone lives in texas moron....some people live where there's this stuff called snow...where AWD is pretty damn useful...have you ever been in a wisconsin winter? No? You can't drive a RWD car that well, and a blown 4.6L RWD would spell death. A lot of good that RWD does there. Your right, because I have four of my four wheels spinning instead of two, I must be a p****. Good logic there almighty bright one. And no i wont argue the driveline loss because there is a lot I know this.    And why won't you argue my point dan, its hard to argue against the truth isn't it. BTW...ManChowderLover....was just stupid...only stupid gay perverts as yourself would take my name and think of homosexual thoughts with it. Damn I thought you mustang guys were somewhat mature. I guess I was wrong; nice work proving your stereotype.

You're very mature for trolling our boards making pointless comments. Nobody cares to hear what you have to say about your ugly AWD cars.

I will argue one point, no stock F-body is faster than a 03 Cobra. Want me to point out everything else you said that's false too? Or should I save you the embarassment ManChowderLover?

what stereotype?  it's you dumbf**k ricers who think your dad bought you the best car on the market that are immature.

FYI move out of your p**** cheese-making state and then you wont have lame excuses not to get good cars, eh.

I live in Buffalo, we are known to get a little bit of snow.  I'll take a real American REAR WHEEL DRIVE car any day in the snow, FWD and AWD are for beginners and women (no offenese to the ladies on this board who know how to drive).

And by the way, with all the rebates available on the Stangs the Cobra's, which will walk all over ANYTHING from Japan, China or Cambodia, where ever that POS is made,  are cheaper than the STI, which is nothing more than a AWD Neon with a big queer wing.

Now go troll the sissy rice boards where you belong.

sissy rice boards, owch...grow up. Yea so many rebates because ford knows they need to move more vehicals. Your just pissed because you paid more for less of a car than what I got for 33. BTW I would take a well modded early-mid 90s 5L Mustang over any import car at the drag strip. Its not like I dont respect american muscle, I just think ford needs to get its act together. They take the longest to produce each car yet they have the most break downs per vehical.chowder3137962.9855555556

I didn't come to your board to troll, I came to your board to find out what the f**ks up with Ford not making cars like they usto. I havent had a father since I was three so I guess daddy didn't buy me anything. I DID, but I'm not going to into that. I don't care where the car was made, what matters is whats inside of the damn thing. If you are all so worrrrieeed about drivetrain power loss, why don't you go buy yourselves FWD seeing as that has the least. And yes please do tell ManChowderLover what he said wrong, so he can learn, something some people aren't capable of doing.chowder3137962.9894097222

of course they are going to offer rebates, that's what sells cars.  just how it is, everyone does it, dont act like its some voodoo cause your dumb ass paid full price for rice.

and on the subject of "getting its act together" and reliability and s**t, if you cant even spell vehicle then your credibility is already shot.

how is it you know they have the most "break downs per vehical" anyway.  i think you made it up.  wanna know why?  because how the f**k would they measure something like that?  how are you defining breaking down?  why does ford offer such a comparatively small warranty if all of their stuff fails?  it doesnt fail, that's why.  why is it nobody else knows about this claim?  cause you made it up or got it on some rice forum, that's why.

Who the hell brought race into this?  People need to just get over themselves to think someone's "culture" or "background" or some s**t means anything to me.  live in the now.  i don't condone slavery, but face it, if you could find a more efficient way to do something why wouldn't you?  and it's not like white people just went over to africa and stole people, their own people captured them and sold them to i believe the people from the west indies who then got them in better health and then sold them to americans.

back on topic...you were just saying people who buy mustangs need to see that there's other countries or something...well why?  american stuff works fine.

and people arguing that import cars are better always bring the "freedom" card into this, but you know what?  freedom comes from people who care about their country much unlike yourself, ricer.

hmmm thats exactly what I ment by the freedom comment. I have a choice in what I like and I like import, as you also have that choice. Its too bad the most AMERICAN car is the HONDA ACCORD...where are most of your "American" cars made...mexico and where ever the hell they can find cheap labor. American cars don't last nearly as long as imports, thats a damn fact. Want proof, look around, how many old camries, civics, and accords do you see driving around? Well honostly too damn many cause this "ricer" hates hondas, especially civics. You know, other countries have a different look on buisness, which isn't make money fast, make cars that last 5 years then make people buy more of our product. Have you ever been out of the country? Go to Europe sometime and you might be surprised.
Actually OUR white ancestors did go over to Africa and did steal the people. Remember that reading comment I made? Seriously, look into that sometime. Try reading my comments, which say I LIKE American cars and this forum which allows me to express my opinions about them. I just don't like that people like you won't accept a 2.5L jap engine is just made better than the modular ford motor.chowder3137963.022349537

ManChowderLover, try an english course...it'll improve your spelling very much.

"Artical" LOL

First off, even your JAPANESE cars do not hold up and LAST the way cars did in the 60's and 70's. What's your point?

Rebates are offered to inspire SALES on "vehicals". Did I mention a english course already? Rebates aren't offered because of poor durability, you fool.

Have you ever taken into consideration, that when you join a forum that is for the Ford manufacturer and you begin bashing and insulting the cars it produces with poor information and ridiculous statements that you may piss off someone? I don't think you Subaru guys would enjoy it much if I did the same. To answer your question from the very beginning, the biggest problem a Mustang has had in recent years is a cracking intake generally caused by cold water touching the intake while it is hot & 1st-2nd gear grind in recent years that has been fixed.

Your bitching about Modular engines sucking? Do you realize your WRX needs a turbo because it's so god damned slow without one? Did you forget the Mach 1 Mustang DOHC selling for under $25,000 is pushing 325 ponies and running 13.0-13.2 stock?

The last of the 5.0's were a JOKE of a motor, what the hell are you talking about the reign of 5.0 performance died in 95? There WAS no performance coming from those motors. Ford realized with their setup the 5.0's were no longer getting the job done. The early 4.6's were BARELY better, now the 2v 4.6's are putting out 260hp stock and mine, with minor mods can stay bumper to bumper with a 4v Mach 1 Engine. I believe I had over revved my motor, bounced it off the limiter pretty hard and developed a nice knock, for replaced my short block and besides that the car has been absolutely flawless. You CANNOT use your friends Cobra as an example for all cars. Did you ever take into consideration that sun and heat kill interior plastic in ANY car?

You cannot force us to accept that the 2.5L STI motor is better than the modular engine. Personally, I don't believe in 4 banger performance, it's costly to rebuild, too much tuning is involved, too much CAN go wrong and when your snapping axels off the line trying to get to 12.1's the Cobra's "s**tty" IRS won't be blowing apart until low 11's. Thanks, come again ManChowderLover.

wanna know why camrys and civics and little dinky 4 bangers last forever?  cause they have like no stress on them.  they're not intended to be run to s**t.  turbo DSM's are and guess where they are...in junkyards or being rebuilt a lot of times.  and what american companies build stuff in mexico?  also, if they do it's either not GM or Ford or not their only factories cause there's domestic car company factories all over america, from detroit to texas.

face it, you can't convince me imports are better, and in most cases even good.  maybe some day i'll suffer some sort of head trauma, but until then i'm a domestic guy.

Good points from Jugador, you do not see Camry's and Civics being hammered on like V8's.

It's cute though how I do see more Honda's and Camry's blowing that cute blue smoke more than any other car I see out there.

Great point about DSM's. Those Eclipses are imports...hell, those babies fall apart pretty freaking fast too, they are driven hard just like a V8!!

lol meh I type fast, I really don't care about my spelling nor my grammer on boards, it doesn't count. Man I don't even care anymore. Actually that large reply about the axles and modular motors was a friend from a wrx forum. It was a fun argue, and its not worth pissing people off, no need no point for it. I still think ford makes better trucks than cars though...hands down I think the new lightnings, especially the SLP tweeked ones are just damn FINE trucks. Id like to see one of those line up with an SRT-10
lol I do agree about the eclipses, those bastards are like belly buttons, everyones got one. Every since Too Fast Too Furious (too damn ricey btw) they've come out of the woodwork.chowder3137963.0342708333
