Default what are some good shocks?

I have a 2003 V6. First of all i bought my car in june of 07. After about2 weeksof driving itI wenton vacation and drove1200 mi round trip.Just before I left i started to notice that there was a clunking noise coming from the right side of the rear end when i would go over a speed bump. When I got back from vacation I took it to thedealership (where i bought it)and they told me that there was nothing wrong. In the same visitI had to replace the O2 censor.Iam99% sure that the clunking noise is because I need new shocks. What do you guys think? There are no scratches on the bottomanywhere and thereis no tire rubbing in the wheelwell. What kind of shocks are best for around the $200 range?

It can be a shock, a bushing Or your spare tire not properly secured.....but it also can be echoing from the front of the car. How did you figure out it was from the rear? Start with makin sure your spare is secure and nothing is loose in your trunk. I have adjustable Koni Shocks on mine and am happy with them.

Well its not my spare, Ive already checked that out. I took a look at how high the right side was compared to the left (in the rear) and the right side sits about 1.5" lower than the left.

shocks dont dictate ride height, springs do.
