yea soo after being gone for some time now i'm back.... and oh yea this past saturday i took the stang to the track for the 1st time... let's jsut say i am satisfied with my results.... 14.8 ain't all that bad..... but don't worry we will definetly have to improve on it...i can't say the same about my friends ws6 the car ran a best of 13.9 and kept gettin worse till it got to 15.7... LOL that's what u get for buying gm...so technically my 95 gt beat a 02 ws6...... lol

Im glad that I didnt have parents to buy me a car.  I had to pay for everyone that ive ever had.  72 chevelle, 63 Chevy2, and now finally a nice ride.  I earned them all, even though it took me 10 years to do it.

99dropTop -> strip (7/21/2003 1:51:57 PM)

same here... i paid for every penny of my ride.

Uh yeah. Paying for your own ride is far more impressive.  If I had wealthy parents I wouldnt know how to fix anything. I had a 67 Cougar for a first car.  I broke it alot, and learned how to repair Fords by fixin what I broke. If dad had enough money to buy me parts and rebuild my car like he did my older brother, I would be driving a minivan too. he had a 70 Charger that dad bought him. I paid for mine when I was 14, worked my butt off to get it.  It was simple, I lived about 15 miles from the nearest town (pop 450), and 25 miles from one with WOMEN in it(pop 7000). So you need a car to get lucky. Because by the time you ride a 10speed there, everyone has gone home and you need a shower.  Earn it you will do better in life. My brother wrecked his Charger, I never even dented my Cougar, its waiting for some time to restore it.

robwazhere -> strip (7/27/2003 12:58:57 AM)

thats cool dude. i like coug's. shame he had to wreck the charger.

yeah, i may only be 19, but ive been living on my own since i was 16 and i really dont like it when rich kids get all the nice stuff cuz i couldnt have it when i was that age. but, i have a better job than most of em now, and can get my self prettymuch anything i want, ad i like it. the pride i have by buying mystuff myself they will never know.

well those ss/z28 have there problem in being when it's hot it with pull back the timing back on each cyl. due to their 10.25 compression to keep dentation a bay...
