Uh yeah. Paying for your own ride is far more impressive. If I had wealthy parents I wouldnt know how to fix anything. I had a 67 Cougar for a first car. I broke it alot, and learned how to repair Fords by fixin what I broke. If dad had enough money to buy me parts and rebuild my car like he did my older brother, I would be driving a minivan too. he had a 70 Charger that dad bought him. I paid for mine when I was 14, worked my butt off to get it. It was simple, I lived about 15 miles from the nearest town (pop 450), and 25 miles from one with WOMEN in it(pop 7000). So you need a car to get lucky. Because by the time you ride a 10speed there, everyone has gone home and you need a shower. Earn it you will do better in life. My brother wrecked his Charger, I never even dented my Cougar, its waiting for some time to restore it.
