What does one do if their door data plate is missing? I allready decoded then vin but that does not tell me what I need to know. Can one be re made????? I don't think the interior was the original color...it is black with white headliner. The paint it a grey color. She looks nice the way she is just curious is all.

if you know for sure what info you need and do a little dirty work on finding out what the car is and what makes sense you can come up with a new one. I did a lot of research and dirty work to come up with mine. luckily i had maryland mustang 15 mins. away from my house make me one.
didnt all of the 1st 65s that got made have a white headliner regardless of interior color? pretty sure or maybe it was only the 64 1/2 that were that way

you can always more or less be able to tellif something is not right. if not screw it, make a door tag and stuff based on the car now. whose gonna know or wag their finger?
