ok so i was driving from work on the freeway and then all of a sudden my car start so like vibrate then i would floor it more and more vibrations so then when i was getting close to home i stop at side of the road and rev it a couple times and it sounds like a subaru wrx then it started smelling like gas not being burnt right anybody have an idea of what it could be that messed up.

you think maybe one of my spark plug wires gave out or is maybe giving little spark

you have a misfire....could be related to a secondary ignition component such as a cap, rotor , wires or plug.....you need to narrow down the misfire to a cylinder and the average harry home owner can do it by grabbing a set of insulate pliers and while running pull wire one by one until you find one where no load change/ drop in idle is noticed and there you'll have the bad cyl...at that point inspect the wire and pull plug....you can switch the component to a known good cylinder and if the misfire now goes to switched cyl..= that'll be prob component..if however when components are swapped around the misfire stays on known bad cyl...=perform compression test and verify internal integrity of motor
lol yea make sure to use insulted pliers but i agree with above it sounds like a firein problem i would check the same way as posted above if you was doing normal driving when it happend i would say thats what it is hince the gas smell from no fire to that cylender. Good luck
ok so i checked my wires and also spark plugs and restarted my car again even when i just started standing there it like has a hard time being on even my check engine light came on
