Default Tapping/knocking at around 2000rpm's

about a week ago my car started making a knocking type sound at around 2000rpms while driving. i changed my oil the day after it started but sound continued. i was wondering if anyone knew how i might be able to figure out if it's rod knock or loose timing chain or a valve tap. i have about 78k miles on the car if that helps, thanks for any help.
