Default fiberglass fenders

would it be worth it to buy a set of fiberglass fenders? im having to replace all of my front body panels anyways. Would the cost be alot more than that of oem fenders? and how much poundage would i save?

stock fenders don't weigh all that much so weight savings would be minimal

im just lookin at my options. i dont really know much about body parts except a 4 inch hood on a street car tends to look a little ridiculous if it isnt necessary..... which is useless information...

Only reason for fiber glass that I could see is that they don't rust.
