Default Rsx Type S vs 04 auto GT

Wasup fellas, today in class I over heard these two guys talking about racing. I over heard one of them say they beat a 2003 stock gt with his RSX type s wit intake only. They obivously don't know that I have a gt so funny how they were saying it right by me LOL. So is this true? Is it possibly? I went on a few acura forums to read and all I can find are these people saying mustangs suck and stock vs stock, roll and topend go to rsx. Is this true?

With a good driver they can nip 14's stock. Edit:A very good driver.
I would say the GT story was BS

When I had my 01 GT: 5Spd, Cai, 75mm T/B, Plenum, UDP's, Tune, O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 40's dumped, 4:10's I raced one (stock) and I destroyed him.

I kind of doubt it man. I'm pretty sure the GT will edge out the RSX, top end, roll, dig, whatever.

Stock for stock the Mustang wins everytime. I think with a very very good driver an RSX-S has hit 14.7-14.8 stock. Intake only wouldnt do that much, but intake, exhaust and nice Hondata or K-Pro tune, and they're low 14 second cars. My friend has one and can hit 150 pretty easily. I mean yeah it takes awhile, but it doesnt fall flat on its face like the pre 05 GT's do.

I have seen a few decent drivers hit 14.5-14.7 with full exhaust and intakes with the type s. The norm his low 15s stock with some high 14s occasionally. Tell the kid to race you from a dig for 200 bucks and see what he says.

Maybe he beat a GT from a roll. Those iVTECHHHHHHHHHHHH cars love to roll so they can use their iVTECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH at its fullest advantage to show the power and fury of iVTECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

They don't sound bad though (unlike a lot of civics).

It would have to be a 50 or better roll. My Si stayed with my 02 until about 100 from a 40 roll, from a 50 I would have been even closer. The Si only has an intake and the GT was bone stock down to the airfilter.
