OK.. 1st off that had to of been an '04 GTO with maybe an '05 hood? Then I might believe you.

But you saying you can beat a Stock '05 GTO with your GT is the same as you saying you can beat a Stock '04 Cobra with your GT.

Sorry, I can't believe that. I smoke the GT's unless they have some serious mod's.

I agree that a stock 05 GT is not going to smoke a stock 05 GTO. It should be the other way around. Its 400 HP vs. 300 HP. I can't see a 05 GT smoking a 04 GTO either, that should be a drivers race.

Really the good match up is a 2004 Mach1 or 2005 GT vs. 2004 GTO.... now that is a drivers race.

And correct me if I am wrong but the 2004 MACH1 should beat the 2005 GT... shouldn't it?

I got bored after reading 3 pages of posts on this. Who cares? They are two bad ass cars from two different car makers. We can debate the topic all day long, but it really doesn't matter til we are at the track or at a stoplight. I'd also like to find an '05 GTO and run it from 25 because I'd think it would be fun and could be anyone's race. It's no fun when you race cars you know your going to win all the time and the GTO is a worthy opponent. Even though I think they did the namesake wrong by giving it the sedan look, they made up for it a bit by putting in a great engine.

Now lets race!
