How do you know the oil cooler is what is putting oil in your coolant? I'd replace it if I where you.
why would someone with a S/C and n20 want to take something off that is there to help keep there engine running longer ?

I know I need to keep it, I just don't want to spend the money for a new one. I just needed someone to tell me how dumb it would be to remove it. It is leaking all around the oil cooler as well, I think it is cracked. I just did a complete rebuild on my engine andit could have got damaged in the process. So do you know any other way to get a new oil cooler besides going through ford??

Junkyards... The chances of finding a dohc 4.6 in a junkyard is pretty slim, but even a blown one may have a working oil cooler you can nab...

See if a Mark8 one will work. I see Mark8's at the junk yard all the time
