03Cobra vs MB E55 video

Here is some race footage, 2 seperate heats of street racing.

I dont have a favorite for this race, but man those E55's are wicked.

For the money, its hard to beat Mustangs though.

The E55 I believe is 80K.

The cobra had some nice mods too!! Nice vid, but I hated the outcome; those E55s are nice and quick but i never figured them for cobra beaters.

The cobra couldnt get any traction though, and the E55 sounded like it had a little more than drag radials.

That's an AMG E55. Check the real stats of the car:

MSRP	$78,370.00*
Engine	5.5L 24-valve V-8 engine
Net Power	469 hp @ 6,100 rpm
Net Torque	516 lb-ft. @ 2,650 - 4,500 rpm

It has as much Flywheel rated hp STOCK, as the Cobra does with mods at the wheels.

Cool... that Mercedes is pretty nice and yes, that cobra was doing low 12's to high 11's...  My friend with the Cobra(same color too) has about the same mods with a very good tune; he's doing 470 to the wheel with 503 lbs of torque. He has Nitto drags or 555's though . He should have wasted that E55..

Hell for $78G give me a used 911 twin turbo and they'd both get smacked.... plus you'd have the sweetest looking ride!

Don't underestimate that Cobra, it was well modified, apparantly you didn't watch the video. His exhaust alone would give him 440rwhp, not counting his pulley upgrade and more...

The guy roasted his radials waay to long, when he drove off from his burn out he just picked up all the sh*t on the road that was infront of him, notice how the E55 went on cold tires...He couldn't drive, and did anyone notice how long it took this guy to shift?? Disgrace!!!
