Default GT 500 race

Do you guys think with my mods + Susp upgrades to hook and a SC puting down 425RWHP and Some 18x10 diameter tires I would have a drivers race against a Shelby GT500? I know I probly don't ahve a shot in hell at a Z06 or a Viper. If not with the GT500, maybe if they had thier top down? Or a 200LB hooker in thier trunk? Sorry it's a Hypothetical but I wanna know if I should just trade in when I have the dough or upgrade.

What kind of SC, centri superchargers tend to lack in the torque department, and with less power you would need suspension mods to hang. I'd say with what you have told us that it would be a drivers race.

if you can get your car set up and make 450 ish(+/- 20 hp) you'd have a edge vs a stock GT500 - IMHO

GT 500s run about 12.5 stock. I raced one (sort of) and it wasn't even a race.

i vote get a GT500...you could probably beat one if you had all that but i dont think it would be by much.

425 rwhp would be drivers race providing you nail the suspension modsas stock GT 500 has approximately 425-430 rwhp (assuming stick) but they are much heavier.

IDK enough to anwser your orgiinal question, but keep it mind the GT500 will probalbly always have the advantage in the end. In order to beat one, your 3V 4.6 is running full-bolt-ons and boost. The Snake is as stock-as-a-rock. A CAI and tune later, andthe GT500 isback to beating you, and thats with a stock pulley/exhaust/suspension/etc they haven't even modded yet.

^^^^ Thats why a GT35R turbo will be the best choice. Turbochargers are way more efficient and generally tend to create more power. But a built block will be needed

to me its always a drivers race when you are within a 10-25 rwhp of another vehicle...having owned both a supercharged gt with 422 rwhp 416 torque and a stock gt500 as well as having raced my brother before I sold my supercharged gt against his stock gt500...I won.....he missed a gear.....ultimately you can build a GT to beat a stock gt500 rather easily..however for just a few dollars on top of the GT500 purchase price...you can build a 500-600 rwhp car...your choice...
