Default 99-04 Roush Stage 3 Body Kit Questions

I just bought a Roush Stage 3 body kit for my 2000 Mustang and I have a couple of questions for those of you who have already done this and have experience with it:

1) How does the body kit fit on the Mustang? Does it need to be adjusted alot to fit right or does it fit perfectly right out of the box?

2) How much does it cost to paint this particular body kit?

3) The Roush 99-04 exhaust tips are as expensive as $#!%, does anybody know of a place that sells them cheaper than $170.00?

Default RE: 99-04 Roush Stage 3 Body Kit Questions

1) Go tape up where the body kit could rub and find out how it fits.

2) You get what you pay for. To paint my hood. It cost about $180 in materials. And I was doing it myself. Find a couple shops around you and get a few quotes.

3) I am asuming you are not going with a full roush setup and you are just going to get some pipes bent at an exhaust shop. Ask them if they have anything. Take a look at these.

Just remember, most tips cost around $60-$100, I would just go ahead and either wait and save some money and get the Roush tips. Or just bite the bullet now, you've already spent close to a grand I'm sure, whats another $170 when you want to do some things right.

Good Luck!
