Well i have decided to sell my saleen. I am the original owner. The car has 5050 miles on the body, and 1200 miles on the new engine that was warranteed from saleen.just don't have time for it any more.I have 2 kids under 2 years old,and they take up all my time.Plus i just sold my house waiting for my new house to be built,so the car is in storage. I have listed it in autotrader and ford trader. I just put it up on ebay last night.I have never sold on ebay,i have only bought things,so this should be interesting. I believe the car is a great deal at the price it is listed at 39,900. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Best of luck man. The market right now is not in your favor considering what some of the 06and 07 E cars have been going for. You might want to call Mark at Performance Autosports as well as he is a VERY reputable Saleen consignment house and can probably help you get the best price out of it.
You might want to update your ebay listing....tell them what the "bumper number" is, and include a pic of it, as well as a pic of the firewall plaque and dash plaque and most poeple looking for a Saleen will want to SEE these items and of course verify it against the VIN using the ever popular Saleen Book. Also if you can, use the Macro/Close up function on your camera and get a better picture of the Window sticker so they can see some of the details.
Also, tell them what the "Extreme" is all about.....forged internals, hand built by Saleen, etc....and how much hp/tq it was rated at by thefactory. And if available what is the power and torque of the new engine with your mods. Also tell them why it had to have a new engine because I'm sure bidders will be hounding you with that question! The more information you provide, the more legit your add seems (not that I'm saying its not legit) and of course the fewer questions you will have to answer.
Don't be discouraged if it doesn't sell the first time...hold out, don't lower your price! Don't be suprised if you have to relist it a few times before the right buyer sees it!

I have been looking at 06 SC cars for several months now, all with low mileage (less than 15K), all could be had for $35K or less...
Its pretty bad..
That's interesting. I have a search saved on ebay motors that automatically emails me whenever a new Saleen listing is posted. I can only recall 1 other '05-'08 factory supercharged SC (as opposed to a 3-valve that was supercharged by the owner after delivery) that was listed or actually sold in the past several months for under $35k.
