Default Got a question

i was thinking of getting a nitrous kit, nothing big probably a 50 shot. i already have a diablo tune, am i going to have to get a custom tune for the nitrous. i probably won't use it often, just when i go to the track, about 5 times a year. mods are in my sig, and soon to have a cai too.

a 50 shot? Grow some balls young man!

But in short, no, you have no need for a tune, witha 50 shot...

75 is still very much in the safe zone. If it was me, I would even do a 100 shot without a tune, but I'm wreckless like that... Hell, i'd even go 125 shot, making sure I am not running any advanced timing, just stock timing...

Go with a 75. I wouldnt do a 100 unless you have a tune. A 50 is nothing at all.

My only experience with nitrous was a bad one. For some reason that we could never figure out, the fuel solenoid would not open when the nitrous system was engaged. The nitrous solenoid worked fine, however. The funky thing was that it worked with the key turned on, but not with the engine running. I made a single pass at the drag strip before I figured out there was a problem. Luckily, the only damage was 3 melted spark plugs, but it totally turned me off nitrous.
