I have a 94 GT with 2 1/2" H-Pipe and flowmaster 44's and cold air induction and 9mm plug wires and MSD coil. What i'm wanting to know is there a nitrous kit that would fit my car without have to do anything to the timing or the fuel. Something I could just hook up and go.
yes there are... dry kits, but why subject yourself to the potential destruction of your motor...with nitrous you don't want to just slap it and go!! you really want a wet kit because the bigger shot you go the more potential you have to max out the duty cycle on the injectors and run lean and kaboom!!!..... with a dry kit 50 to 75 shot to be safe with no tuning......above that you really should tune..like bump fuel pressure , play with timingect ect.....as you go higher in the shot = more tuning required... nitrous is unforgiving
well first off, timing is a 3 minute job and you should be doing it anyways. fuel is fuel you don't need to worry about it on any kit as long as the fuel system is properly working, but timing needs to be watched and changed w/ every kit, unless you just go w/ 10* and call it a day. the higher timing the more power, but the hotter it is, the closer you get to leaning out
any kit for a 5.0 will work, and yes dry kits are the easiest
squirt 75-100 and it will knock off 1 full second + of et, or 10 cars in the 1/4 mile

i just got a zex wet kit but i still need to hook it up. i would recommend getting a wide band o2 sensor as well so u can monitor the air/fuel ratio. also get a fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure gauge. and make sure the kit you get has a WOT switch or just buy one.

if your going to go in blind the zex dry kit is a nobrainer anyone can put it on and it will bump the fuel pressure for you...
you still need to check the timing and see where your at timing will kill your motor if its to high..
I ran the 125 dry shot with 6* timing just to be safe I have a buddy who runs a stock 1994 lightning with the 125 dry shot zex and he is on 12* with no problems so far he has run about 20 bottles thru it but I keep telling him its to high but he doesnt seem to care lol....
The timing is very important. Don't chance it. I seen a 96 gt backfire and burn to the ground at the track becasue he didn't set his timing for the gas.

If i was going to use the ZEX kit latemodel restoration has the ZEX kit and it only comes on at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE, so my question is does it come with everything I would need to get it going, and does it come with PURGE VALVE, and if not could i put a purger valve on it?
I ran my 95 with a 100 wet and didn't have a problem except hitting the rev limiter. Next time I fill the bottle I'm stepping up to the 125 jets and pulling another degree.
Id say 100 safe and 125-150 if you know how to tune your car.
