Default problems taking off mufflers

My pypes mid muffler system came in yesterday so i decided that today i would put it on myself. i ran into my first problem pretty fast. I disconnected the hanger from the frame rail and loosened the clamp holding the muffler to the pipe and i was able to work it down off of it a little bit, but it would only come down so far. It acted like it was connected to the pipe on the other side or somethin, im not sure. If anyone has any ideas or has had this prooblem before and knows how to get past it help would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: problems taking off mufflers

Spray it down with WD40 and keep trying to spin it off. It should come off sooner or later. No guarantees, but work a try!
