iv gotta 98 also..iv tightened a few of em up but never on a mustang..the easiest way id say to do it is 2 start from the rear axle and find the actual e brake cable and follow it until u find a piece that looks like it has a nut and it should act like a tensioner if u turn it one way it shud losen up and the other will tighten it..but like i said iv never had to do it on a mustang but every e brake cable iv tightened or untightened has been this way
on a mustang, they're supposed to be self-adjusting but my car will still roll on a steep hill so my guess is the cable is stretched and probably needs replacing
