Smoke but not oil and not coolant seems to be fuel
hello i just droped arebuilt 5.0 with 55,000 original milesinto my 1988 mustang. there are a few mods to the car i have a upgraded cam, headers, full exhuast, k&n cone filter, 373 gears, aluminum drive shaft, converted to mass air from speed density, short shift kit,adjustable fuel pressure regulator,high power fuel pump,some light weight rims and a few other little things. the car overall drives well but and runs well even with smoke coming out of the back and its not a little its a decent amount. its not oil or coolant though because its notblue and there no coolant smell, it acuallysmells like fuel its running very rich and even lowering the fuel pressure it still is dumping fuel. the mass air is working because when i disconnect it it bog's than stalls. i was wondering if there was anything anyone would recomend to start checking, or if they have had this problem what to do to fix it. i have only had the car running a day now im just getting it out there to get as much feedback as i can thank you - tom
ps .the oil pressure is perfect and the temp is perfect aswell.
