Default Such is the Clutch

There is a sqeaking that is coming from the clutch, and when I press it in about an inch (in neutral while running) it stops. Is this is the sign of a clutch wearing out? Or some kinda loosening someplace, it seems like its getting worse every time I drive it. If the clutch is goin down the drain, how much is a new one gunna be...im thinkin King Clutch. Also how much of a pain in azz is it to replace?

Sounds like the t/o bearing is going bad. As far as the clutch replacement, that all depends on your level of mechanical aptitude.

It's not really that hard. A few hours on jackstands should do it.

hell i learned to swap a clutch by trial and error under my friends car

my suggestion, theres 4 bolts that hold the tranny to the bellhousing, take those off and take the tranny out, and then undo the bell housing, ALOT easier to reach the bolts, which i had to do with the tranny in because on my afformentioned friends car, the tranny and the bellhousing were 1 part.

also, dont forget the driveshaft bolts are 12mm, not american, and use a regular box end, not a ratcheting box, or a socket, i got a 1 way ratcheting box stuck on there, dont even ask me how i got it off, I dont even remember
