Default filling in dings

i have 2 or 3 little dings on my hood (no dents, just little places where the paint chipped off, very very small in size) and i have touch up paint, whats the best way to repainting it, or should i just leave it alone? theyre not incredibly noticable, so if theres a way that i can just simply protect it instead, i can do that too

Default RE: filling in dings

you have 2 options, one is get a regular touch up pen and slowly layer the pain up to the final surface by doing like 4 or 5 applications in that one chip and then getting some clear coat and just dabbing that on, wet sand and buff and gone OR i have had some good success using a squeegee with paint on the surface and that fills it in like puddy with paint.
