Default decoding vin

looking at a 73 fast back. guys asking 800.00. but cant decode the door plate 63D 9A HB 372 X 2. i can only gethe body and color?
Then again for a running 302 is it worth 800? I am going to take a look at it in the morning, a friend looked at it and said it was i good shape, then again his opinion is questionable being he dose not know rust from bondo. have to teach him something i guess.

just what i need another project!

Default RE: decoding vin

try this:

http://classicponycars.com/73data.html

EDIT i got bored

63D Sportsroof, w/ Standard Interior, Buckets

9A wimbledon white

HB? no HB on decoder

372 ?

X FMX automatic

2?

and FYI you would be way better off if you had the VIN number, that decodes more than the data plate
