Got home from Vegas and it was a pretty successful trip.
My first hold em tourney was horrible. First hand of the game I get pocket 8's and hit a third on the flop.
I have this asian chick betting raising me and nothing really showing on the board to cause me any concern.
She ends up hitting a straight on the river and I lose 80% of my chips in hand one.
First to be eliminated at my table.[:@]
Day 2 tourney and I win so many hands that I shouldn't have.
I eliminated a few people with freaking king high.[:-]
I make it to the final table and lose in 4th position but get $800 for my effort.
So in between tourneys I start playing let it ride to kill some time.
I freakin hit a full house 3 times. Each time it was good for $660
Then I sit down at Harrahs and get dealt a A, K, Q of diamonds.
My heart skips a beat. Royal pays 1000 to 1 and I have $25 in each spot.
SO if it hits I win 75g's
Dealer turns over the first card and it's not even close to hitting but I did win the Mini Royal bonus for $500.
I proceeded to give alot of it back losing at some other games but ended up coming home with about $500 more than I arrived with.
Overall successful trip.
