Default need your guys help with picking new car or truck

here is the story start college soon next week. i got an 89 ssp coupe and my dd a 01 dodge dakota. what do you guys say i do. sell both get really nice brand new car. or keep mustang and sell dakota and get something not as nice. i could get decent money for the dokota. the gas is killing me im getting 11 mpg in stop and go traffic.
what dose everyone think about a newer dodge ram?

keep the stang sell the truck .... the new rams are pretty nice in my opinion

I like Scion Tc's as a DD they're nice imo.

I don't know if I'd get rid of the Dakota for a Ram. Even with the cylinder deactivation I don't think the Hemi's do that great.
As bad as I hate to say it, I've heard the newer Chevy's get pretty good mileage. I hate the looks of the newest ones though. They're too big and boxy and every damn one of them looks like it's smiling at you.
