Default Manual Valve Body

Wouldnt that cause your AOD to wear out more than it would if it was shifting on its own?
I dont plan to do any track with my car but I think it would be fun to have.
I also wont sacrafice longevity for it though.

not really, what wears the clutches out is up****ing and downshifting, the more its done, the shorter the life. you are not going to wear out a trans in 2 weeks. flush the fluid in it alteast every 30k miles and it will last a very long time.

Yep. But there's other factors that play into it. However, you won't ruin the trans with a manual vb. Honestly if you did that i'de swap in a ratchet shifter too. That'd make for a fun trans. If you ever have like major auto specific questions, theres a site specifically for auto stangs.

http://www.clickclickracing.com

They are really helpful there.

Good luck!
