if it's the heatriser you're talking about (basically the tube that connects from intake manifold to choke housing), then _any_ way of hooking it up is valid. The only thing this does is to supply the choke with hot air. So yes, if you can make a new thread.
I'm one of those idiots who would even ducktape this ....
